Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Costa Rica Upon your arrival at SJO International Airport, you will be met by our tour guide. You will be transported to the Best Western Irazu Hotel where you will have the rest of the day at your leisure to enjoy the Hotel facilities. Dinner is on your own. A guided tour for exploring the rich Night life of San Jose City, is available if you wish.
Day 2 - COCOS ISLAND ( B, L, D ) After Breakfast, you will be transported by land to the city of Puntarenas where you will be transported to the Island aboard the Yacht SEA HUNTER, leaving from local Harbor. During the 36 hour trip, you will have free time on the yacht to meet other travellers and enjoy the view, watch dolphins, whales, and sea turtles or just take time to rest.
Day 3 - Day 10 cocos island ( B, L, D ) After Breakfast, the first dive will be at 7:45 a.m. The second dive at 10:45 a.m. and the third dive at 2:00 p.m.. The Fourth Diving is subject to the preferences of the majority of the group. It may be before or after the Dinner. Your group will also visit the Island for some tours of the forest, to visit the waterfalls, and you may bathe in the pristine waters, or sun tan on the white sand beaches of Island. Both diving sessions and visits to the Island are subject to weather and tidal conditions.
Day 11 - COCOS ISLAND ( B, L, D ) You will be transported back to the city of Puntarenas. During the trip you will be at leisure to visit and share experiences with the other divers, as well as to enjoy the views.
Day 12 - SAN JOSE CITY ( B, ) You will arrive in the city of Puntarenas, at approximately 12 noon. And then will be transported to the Best Western Irazu Hotel in SJO City where you will have the rest of the day at your leisure to enjoy the Hotel facilities. Dinner is on your own.
Day 13 - ( B ) You will be transported by Van to SJO Airport for your return flight.
What's included: 2 nights at the Hotel Alta, plus accommodations aboard the yacht, 4 guided diving sessions per day, with at least one Dive Master per dive. Compressed air tanks, weights and weight belts, Airport Pick Up, Hotel transfers on the day of the charter, all meals, snacks, non alcoholic beverages, local beer and wine, and all Hotel and Tourism taxes.
Not Included: International air fare, Costa Rica departure taxes ( $26 per person), Airport Charge ($9 per person ), entrance fees to Park, extra charge for fuel, meals and drinks not specified in the itinerary, and gratuities or extra costs associated with changes in your itinerary for reasons beyond our control.
